You all should know me but just in case you don't her's a potted history of me so far....

My full names is Wayne Alan Redvers Davies andI was born on February 25, 1972. My parenst are Christine and Alan and I have an eldest sister Debbie who was born preciscely 1 year and 1 day before (obviously something in the water around May in Cardiff).

If your wondering, Redvers, is an old family name passed down to the first son and I've found out its actually French from the town Reveirs in Normandy.

Lived all my life in Cardiff and if I'm honest I've never had an inclination of living any where else as I love the city and everything thats important to me is here. Family, friends etc.

Went to Cathays High School, straight "C" student (in other words "could do better") and left after trying A-Levels for 1 year. Think I failed because I spent more time enjoying myself than doing the homework set by the teachers.

Left and got my first job in NPI as a pension's scheme administrator, worked my way up through the ranks and joined the company's training team after 8 years. After redundancy I joined LG Electronics as part of their training team. After 6 months of working in a manufacturing environment I "thankfully" left that industry and got a job in Legal & General as a trainer I've and been here ever since.

During my time in NPI I met the future Mrs Davies, Angharad, when she joined the team I was working in. Didn't get togther for a few years (free drinks at a works do). The date was June 8, 1998 and France were playing South Africa in the world cup. Only way I can remember the date. After living together for a few years we got married on 28 April 2001 and our theme walking down the aisle was "Star Wars" (to Angharad's horror but she had no choice!!)

As for children, my first kid, Beth was born on 29 December 1993. My first kid with Angharad, Morgan (aka Mogs), was born on 25 May 2003 (Return of the Jedi was released on 25 May....coincidence!?!). Deryn (welsh for bird) was then born on 17 June 2005 and now as far as I'm concerned 3 is more than enough!!!

Hobbies wise, obviously being Welsh, rugby (especially when we beat England), big Spurs fan and I try to get a few games in every season (we've beaten Chelsea so Arsenal next!!!) I love playing and watching golf, although my handicap is the highest possible after two years of playing!!

Always got a book on me to read (currently "Live and let Die" - I plan to read all the Bond books), and I love to cook (and eat!!).

Love listening to music, especially Van Halen and any other rock - can't stand jazz, raggae, R&B, boy bands and pop...all of which the wife loves.

You will have noticed in my Blog, a slight film related theme. Star Wars. I'm a frigging freak on it. It was the first film I saw in the cinema and I've been hooked ever since. If you've seen my desk you will notice a small model of the Death Star (that's no moon...that's a space station) on top of the screen, action figuers (not dolls!!!) of Vader, Yoda, Boba Fett and General Grievous on the base and a Yoda picture on the wall. I've still got a load of my action figuers from when I was a kid, although they're not worth a penny as they are all used and not kept in the box and I love teaching Mogs, the way of the force (yes I know its not real). This winds up the wife as she hates it!!!
